Client Criteria

• Listing of all industrial properties in Nanaimo area to build a new trucking facility
• Duke Point has an interest but it is not critical to Client’s process of evaluation
• Minimum of 2 acres and maximum of 5 acres

The city of Nanaimo includes the industrial areas of Wellington/Northfield, Nanaimo Central, Duke Point, and 4 parcels within the GCB of Nanaimo S. /S. Wellington. These industrial areas have adequate vacant industrial land to accommodate the projected demand for industrial lands for the city of Nanaimo during 2011-2021 within the Growth Containment Boundary, and in locations that meet the sustainability goals of the Regional District of Nanaimo.
